Project Overview

The Eastern Car Park is an ambitious and unique infrastructure project located in Kuwait’s Ministries Complex, surrounded by the South and North parking areas. Initially covering an area of 27,500 square meters, this facility was limited to a ground floor layout with a parking capacity of only 600 spaces. Recognizing the increasing demand for parking in this vital government hub, the Ministry of Finance, Kuwait embarked on a large-scale expansion project to transform this car park into a state-of-the-art multi-storey facility.

Expansion Details

The expansion project involves a major increase in both the height and capacity of the car park. Now completed, the Eastern Car Park spans a built-up area of 132,630 square meters and includes three basement levels, a ground floor, five additional floors, and a rooftop, providing an estimated total capacity of 4,000 parking spaces. This upgrade has significantly increased the functionality of the Ministries Complex, ensuring efficient parking solutions for employees, visitors, and the general public.
