Al Razi Hospital

The Expansion of Al Razi Hospital involves 6 major elements which are as follows:

1. Increase Inpatient bed capacity to almost double the current capacity to a total of 507 inpatient beds.
2. Additional Administrative areas for Human Resources Department, Anesthesia Department and Medical Administration.
3. A new Physical Therapy Department, to support the additional 240 beds being proposed along with a General Radiology Satellite Unit.
4. The area where Operating Theaters are currently located within the existing hospital is to be re-planned and re-furnished to add 4 new operating theaters.
5. An air- conditioned grade-level walk way connecting the new building with the existing hospital.
